1. Our Commitment
CrowdAlt is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities, including individuals using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, speech recognition software, and screen magnifiers. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
2. Standards We Target
We design and test our web interfaces according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines outline how to make web content more accessible for people with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities.
Every interactive button, modal, form input, and tab can be navigated smoothly using keyboard-only tab controls.
We use high-contrast color pairings that exceed WCAG 2.1 minimum contrast thresholds for readability.
All mobile buttons, chips, and interactive targets adhere to minimum 44x44px touch targets to prevent mis-clicks.
Semantic HTML5 tags, descriptive ARIA attributes, and clear image alt texts ensure screen readers convey context accurately.
3. Continuous Testing & Improvement
As part of our development cycle, our engineering team regularly tests new features across modern browsers and operating systems (Google Chrome, Apple Safari, iOS VoiceOver, Android TalkBack, and NVDA). We prioritize resolving any accessibility hurdles promptly.
4. Feedback & Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of CrowdAlt. If you encounter any accessibility barriers while creating a campaign or donating, please reach out to our team:
